Description
Geocell is a three-dimensional mesh cell structure formed by reinforced HDPE sheet material through high-strength welding. It is generally formed by ultrasonic needle welding. Due to engineering needs, some holes are drilled in the diaphragm, and the more commonly used is welded geocell.

The following are its core application scenarios and specific cases:
Slope protection and ecological restoration
1. Slope reinforcement
The expanded cells form a continuous retaining wall structure, which is filled with vegetation soil and combined with vegetation greening to prevent soil erosion and repair the exposed slope ecology.
2. Anti-scouring and hydraulic erosion
By slowing down the water flow and dispersing the water pressure, the slopes of river channels, dams and other areas are protected from scouring damage.
Bridge and pipeline engineering
1. Prevention of abutment jumping
Used in the backfill area of the abutment, it reduces the settlement difference between the abutment and the fill by locking the soil, improving driving comfort.
2. Pipeline and sewer support
Replaces the traditional stone foundation to form a flexible protective layer to prevent the pipeline from being damaged by slight subsidence or landslide of the foundation, improving construction efficiency and reducing costs.
Construction process
1. Site preparation: clean the slope, trim the step platform, and ensure that it is connected to the existing road.
2. Laying and fixing: unfold the cell and fix the top and edge with U-shaped/L-shaped anchor rods to ensure that it fits the slope.
3. Filling and compacting: fill in sand and gravel or vegetation soil, and use a roller to compact in layers.
4. Ecological restoration: plant grass seeds or shrubs in the slope filling soil to form a green slope protection.
